Each year, the IRENA produces a report containing some of the most detailed and heavily scrutinized analyses of the global energy system. This report is called the World Energy Outlook (WEO). You may ask, why is solar is becoming more and more common as a form of renewable energy? This is because solar is superior in terms of availability, cost-effectiveness, accessibility, capacity, and efficiency compared to other renewable energy sources. The most comparable form of renewable energy to solar is wind. They are neck and neck in capacity, both have variable output based on weather, and both can scale from commercial to personal use.
