Unless you want to be ... in that case, here's all you should to know!
How your roof can power your home.
Is your energy bill through the roof? Maybe it’s time to power your home with your roof. When you choose solar energy, you can use the empty space on your roof to place PV panels that will turn UV rays into electricity. That electricity then runs through your solar system and is transformed into AC electricity that powers the appliances in your home. As long as the sun is shining, your system will be able to keep you from using electricity from the grid and save you money.
Solar in the spring.
Spring and fall are often known as “shoulder” seasons. They are great seasons to have solar because your usage is typically lower than other times of the year and your production is transitioning from winter to summer. Depending on the weather in your area that year, you will likely break even on your energy usage to production. During especially sunny years, you will produce more than you’re using and accumulate some credits!
Explained: tax credits and solar.
Solar is a big investment that can often feel intimidating, especially for your wallet. However, it can save you a lot of money in the long run.To help ease the shock of the initial investment, tax dollars have been set aside to encourage more homeowners to produce their own renewable energy. These benefits come at federal, state, and local levels.
The Frugll Manifesto
The world is changing. It’s impossible to deny. To thrive and not just survive, we must be creative, thoughtful, and innovative. We must be willing to go out on a limb. Think sustainably. Embrace our individualism and find others who do the same. Take a chance on the road less traveled. Be the underdog who swings for the fences and makes it happen. We must make meaningful and effective decisions. We must be Frugll.
